therapy for adhd

For those who have, or think they might have, ADHD. When we are neurodivergent, we think beyond the limits of how others think. Learning to harness this as an asset involves its own skillset. This can be freeing and exciting to cultivate, and having support in the process can help us stick with it in spite of setbacks. Being neurodivergent means sometimes finding ourselves misunderstood, struggling to keep up with the demands of daily life and in many cases chronically undervaluing ourselves. It can be isolating and painful to hold different values from others and to be measured in ways that don’t fit us.

I support you to:

  • Understand your condition better, recognising and validating the ways in which it underpins your struggles

  • Come to recognise the influence of co-occurring conditions that may also affect you

  • Disentangle from the overwhelm

  • Cultivate your own sense of power to change your life for the better

  • Develop an ongoing sense of how you’re doing and what you need to feel better

  • Raise your awareness of how your neurodivergence strengthens and drives you, and offers you gifts others don’t have

  • Break down large problems into smaller, manageable steps that actually fit into your life

  • Meet the frustrations and setbacks that are part of any healing journey
